The guest/visitor hereby acknowledges and agrees that entering onto or use of the facilities at Zeekoe Lodge is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and that all guests/visitors will be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Upon paying the booking deposit fee, the guest/visitor acknowledges his/her acceptance and understanding of these Terms & Conditions, which incorporates our General Indemnity and Disclaimers as well as House Rules, and further agrees to inform all persons in his/her party of the contents hereof. It is an express condition that all guests/visitors as well as all persons in his/her party and their children are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. RIGHT OF ADMISSION IS RESERVED and Zeekoe Lodge its owners, employees, agents, contractors reserve the right to decline accommodation to, or cancel the balance of booked accommodation and to expel any guest/visitor for conduct which at our sole discretion, is inappropriate to the property, breach of House Rules or to the comfort of any other guest/visitor. No refund shall be payable under such circumstances.

3. Zeekoe Lodge, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel and/or refund accommodation fee’s and/or offer a booking alternative by way of postponement (voucher) to an alternative booking date and/or move guests to similar alternative accommodation for any reasons beyond our reasonable control and/or to comply with any legislation or policies as may be determined from time to time by Government. Zeekoe Lodge its owners, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any further compensation or any other payment or loss whatsoever.

4. Zeekoe Lodge, its owners, employees, agents, contractors will not be held responsible or accept any liability, nor issue any refunds, for occurrences resulting in loss of occupancy, personal injury, loss or damage to property caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to, faults in the sewage or plumbing installations, the breakdown of appliances, invasion of pests, wild animals, weather conditions, natural disasters, flooding or water supply disruption.

5. Whilst representations, both verbal and visual are made in good faith, they are only intended to give general guidance as to the character of the accommodation, the premises and surrounding areas. It does not form part of any agreement with Zeekoe Lodge, its owners, employees, agents or contractors.

6. A booking will only be confirmed once the full booking deposit amount has been received by Zeekoe Lodge.

7. The balance of a booking fee is payable by direct deposit or electronic funds transfer (EFT) prior to your arrival. No debit / credit card payments on site is available. Any amount owing must be paid in full before or on arrival at Zeekoe Lodge

8. Payment: direct deposits or electronic funds transfer must be deposited into Zeekoe Lodge’s bank account before the due date. Kindly use your surname and invoice number as reference. Proof of payment can be e-mailed to host@zeekoelodge.com.

9. Failing to pay the booking deposit fee will result in the provisional booking being cancelled, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Zeekoe Lodge.

10. Zeekoe Lodge has a strict cancellation policy. We do however consider and review each cancellation on its own merit and take a reschedule before cancellation approach. In the event that no stay can be rescheduled the following cancellation terms will apply:

1. Cancellation 14 days or more 50% of the booking deposit will be refunded.
2. Cancellation less than 14 days but more than 7 days; 25% of the booking deposit fee will be refunded.
3. Cancellation less than 7 days; ZERO of the booking fee deposit will be refunded

11. Any damages or losses resulting from the conduct or omissions of the guests/visitor or their children will be invoiced to the guest/visitor.

12. No caravans and/or Tents are allowed on Zeekoe Lodge unless explicit consent in writing has been obtain prior.

13. Booked guests may not invite day visitors and/or accommodate additional overnight visitors at Zeekoe Lodge without the prior explicit consent, in writing , from Zeekoe Lodge.

14. Zeekoe Lodge’s units are strictly non-smoking. Smoking only permitted outside the house and units.

15. Our General Indemnity and Disclaimers are part of these Terms and Conditions.

16. These Terms and Conditions, which incorporates the General Indemnity & Disclaimers and House Rules, contain the full and only agreement between Zeekoe Lodge its owners, employees, agents, contractors and the guest/visitor unless expressly waived or altered in writing by a duly authorised representative of Zeekoe Lodge.

17. Zeeloe Lodge will not be held liable should extreme weather conditions, acts of nature, rising water levels and power outages prevent guest/visitors to make use of all facilities/activities at Zeekoe Lodge during their stay
