Our Rock Cottage is the quaint & danty (self catering) addition to the Zeekoe Lodge Family.
Fitted with a fireplace, cold and chilly weather is taken care whilst creating the perfect atmosphere.
It is the perfect choice for a close, small group of friends or family of 4 x people.
The unit consists of 2 x spacious rooms (main room is En-suite), each fitted with a double bed. There is an additional bathroom (with shower, toilet & basin) in the unit.
The main, en suite, room walks out onto the deck/braai area of the unit. The perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee or the perfect sundowner – with a spectacular view from your front porch.

River Cottage @ 1690 zar per night
Our river cottage is a small, self catering; cozy three bedroom cottage. The main (En-suite) & secondary bedroom(s) of the cottage is fitted with queen size beds. The third (additional) bedroom is fitted with a double bed.
The main & secondary bedroom(s) of the cottage walks out onto the braai/deck area, from where the beauty of nature can be admired. Perfect and ideal to enjoy sundowners (or a morning coffee), while watching the fish & river animals play, right at your doorstep. The main bedroom has an indoor fireplace (perfect for the winter months).
An outside braai/boma area is also available for our river cottage – the perfect place for a bushveld get together around the fire.

The family house is a marvelous (double story) 8 x sleeper, self catering unit.
This unit is a PERFECT match for your next family reunion. This unit can easily accommodate a large, extensive family.
The unit has 3 x bedrooms downstairs (all en-suite) a communal loft area (upstairs – with single beds) as well as a spacious loft bedroom.
The loft area of this unit creates the perfect ‘sleepover’ space for young (or old).
The loft can sleep 4 x people, with 2 x single beds, as well as 2 x sleeper couches.
The fully functional kitchen of the unit is also downstairs to serve in any avid cooks’ needs.
The deck/patio/veranda area leads onto a spacious boma/braai area, where family and friends can get together at night by the cozy (under roof) fire pit where spectacular views of the property & river can be admired.

Although our Family House can sleep 8 x guests comfortably, the unit does offer additional space for FOUR (4) x additional guests.

Some of the basics
All our units are self catering (this includes pantry staples like: coffee, sugar, milk, etc). We provide bedding and towels (PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SWIMMING TOWELS). Each unit has its own kitchen with basic utensils. Braai facilities are available at each unit. Should you require wood or ICE during your stay we do have availale for SALE.
MAD ABOUT COFFEE? We proudly stock our OWN HOUSEBLEND coffee. Please enquire with your host(s) before the time, with regards to ordering a special blend for yourself.
WiFi is also available (in each unit).
Yes we are pet friendly. We do however ask that you first check with us before bringing them with. We have furry kids too and to make sure everyone will get along and be safe.
We regret NO day visitors allowed.
We do not have a shop, but wood and ice, as well as basic necessities like: coffee, sugar & milk is available to buy. Please just arrange prior to arrival so we can stock up 🙂
DEFINITELY! Zeekoe Lodge is a fly fishing gem. We boast yellow fish, bass, catfish and more! bring your rods and cast away!
